Casa Cartagena is a unique new hotel housed in a historic colonial mansion that has been declared a Monument of Peruvian Cultural Heritage by the National institute of Culture. It was built during the Inca Empire and modified during the colonial period, all the while housing ruling nobility. The Italian hotel collection called “Luxury Properties” recognized the building’s historical and cultural significance and wonderfully restored the mansion to its original splendor. While from the outside Casa Cartagena seamlessly blends with its traditional surroundings, on the inside the hotel’s impeccably styled Italian minimalist décor brings a completely new flair to Cuzco hotels. Boasts 16 spacious oxygen-enriched suites, a relaxing spa and an outstanding restaurant.
