La Casa del Melgar

This 31 room hotel is one of the most charming in Peru. A fine example of colonial architecture blended with native features, this 18th refurbished Mansion, once the residence of the Bishop of Arequipa offers comfortable accommodation and good value.

It is located three blocks away from the Plaza de Armas, and has three lovely courtyards painted and its massive walls are painted in the traditional terracotta and blue.
