Located 8 km east of Huaraz (approx. 20 minutes), The Lazy Dog Inn is an environmentally friendly Bed and Breakfast at a staggering 3650 m (12000 feet). This beautiful mountain lodge is situated in the Cordillera Blanca mountain range at the base of the Quebrada Llaca, of which the property provides a beautiful view. It is situated beside the Huascaran National Park and is just 20 minutes travel from the city of Huaraz; the best road to take here passes by the Wilcahuain ruins and continues upwards, into the mountains.

Close to the Inn, more than 20 mountain peaks that tower over 20,000 feet (6.000 meters) provide ideal terrain for climbing enthusiasts, while there are also numerous trails for hiking or trekking, horseback riding and mountain biking.

The Lazy Dog Inn is fully committed to social and environmental responsibility through low waste operations and active support of local community development initiatives. Its cabins are adobe structures built entirely by hand, using no equipment or electricity, with all of the labor provided by neighbors in the community. Virtually all of the materials used to construct the mountain lodge were sourced from the immediate area, thus reducing the environmental damage resulting from the acquisition, transport and conditioning of building materials from remote locations.

The Inn provides spacious accommodation in 2 adobe cabins or 2 private rooms in the main adobe lodge. Guests enjoy home cooked meals, hot baths or showers, fireplaces, private terraces and stunning views with exceptional access to the numerous activities the Cordillera Blanca Mountains and all the region has to offer.
