Posada Amazonas

Owned by a local company and the native community of Infierno, it is located two hours (one hour by land and one hour by boat) from the nearest town, Puerto Maldonado. The lodge was built combining traditional native architecture and materials with modern, low impact eco-lodge technology. There are a variety of activities to keep your agenda full for your two night stay: giant river otters at an oxbow lake; macaw viewing at a clay lick; a canopy tower and an ethno-botanical trail.

This lodge can only be booked as part of an itinerary as we do not do stand-alone hotel bookings.
