"Brazil has rediscovered itself
" and it's not just
its President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva who thinks so. The largest
country in South America has always been a land of contrasts - the
rich Amazonian rainforest versus the thrilling, vibrant excitement
of the cities - but today it has found a new equilibrium which is
attracting visitors from all over the World.
The fifth largest country in the world has many diverse attractions
to offer, but with our Brazilian partner we create itineraries that
unpeel the layers of Brazil to bring you the most fascinating, relaxing
and luxurious aspects of this vibrant region. A visit that adds
a relaxing dimension to a trip to Peru or the Galapagos Islands,
or simply a luxury break in itself.

Seeking vibrancy - Rio de Janeiro and São Paolo
'A Cidade Maravilhosa', the Marvelous City, Rio is synonymous with
nostalgic glamour, the spectacular scenery and, of course, the Carnival.
This is a place where you can experience the real 'Carioca' lifestyle.
By all means, visit the museums and galleries with our specialist,
erudite guides, but why not take a samba lesson at a renowned samba
school or learn the distinctive Rio percussion style at a percussion
school?
There is a new buzz in Rio with the newest Fasano hotel opening
at the end of July. Designed and decorated by Philippe Starck, we
highly recommend you stay here while in Rio.
For a contrast, visit the design capital of South America, São
Paulo. This cosmopolitan, vibrant city has a strong cultural, arts
and musical and gastronomic heritage. To see the best of the city
specialist guides - erudite experts in their fields - will take
you around the museums and galleries. Follow this up by tasting
the best that the city has to offer choosing from its wide range
of speciality cuisines of Italian, Japanese, contemporary Brazilian
and barbecue.
Cruise the Amazon in style
If you are looking for an Amazonian adventure, but not at the expense
of luxurious accommodation and exquisite cuisine, we can arrange
a five day cruise on a beautiful yacht built for pleasure and privacy.
Ranging from five to eight cabins, some of the yachts have a jacuzzi,
sauna and a home cinema theatre on-board. You will be accompanied
by a specialist guide, a host, a chef and of course the crew.
Spend your days exploring trails deep within the forest, visiting
areas and communities that can only be reached by boat, and dining
by candlelight on a secluded beach. You can charter a hydroplane
for a magical airborne view of this amazing land. Or you could hire
a top Brazilian chef to spoil you with innovative blends, delicious
regional dishes, or simple to cater for your every whim. You can
even try (or chance) your hand at piranha fishing.
Other Brazilian highlights:
Pantanal
The Pantanal is the largest wetland/floodland area in the world.
The wildlife here is privileged and the safari experience an unforgettable
one. We have recently re-accessed our itinerary to enhance the opportunities
for wildlife spotting.

Bahia
Bahia is a State full of history and culture, seeing as Salvador,
its capital, was once the country´s capital as well. We recommend
visiting this city as well as the beaches along the southern coast,
including Trancoso which is the epitome of "barefoot luxury"
in the country. There are great pousadas and incredible private
villas in the area we could work with. It is the destination for
many of the jet-set and high-profile crowd, national and international.
Chapada Diamantina is inland and another area we recommend highly.
This canyon area is dotted with waterfalls and incredible views.
We can develop trips catering to the more adventurous types, individuals
or groups, as well as families. Lençóis is the town
at its heart, another beautiful colonial spot, doused with history.
Accommodation is in pousadas here.
Lençóis
We have a new freshly developed itinerary in this region which
is great for those who are willing to venture into this sand dune
reserve in the North-East of the country. This trip is incredible!
