At Aracari we do our best so to make your experience of Perú extraordinary. We want you to get under the skin of buildings and monuments and provide you with an in-depth understanding of the culture and society.

Using our strong network of friends we can exclusively arrange very special visits to private homes whose owners have kindly accepted to act as your hosts. They will guide you through their private art collections and family memorabilia. Some of these visits offer the possibility of drinks, lunch, dinner or simply just a visit and a chat.

Most of these visits are exclusive to Aracari, and the owners of these houses, all of them personal friends of ours, are not driven by commercial interests, but rather by a desire to share what they love with like minded visitors.

It is a unique opportunity to see life inside Perú. Here are some of the visits we can arrange. Please note that these are visits only and not accommodation unless specifically noted.

“Her (Marisol's) originality and peerless knowledge of every aspect of the region make her trips very special, as do her contacts. She can open doors to private collections, find the head of a dig to guide clients through an archaeological site or arrange encounters with anyone from missionaries to chefs…” John Julius Norwich, Harpers & Queen Magazine, January 2003
