The lodge offers two ensuite bungalows, conveniently situated either side of the main lodge. Spacious and full of character they have natural rock walls and eco friendly sedum roofs. Their large windows are positioned to maximise breathtaking mountain views. Each is equipped with wardrobe, drawers, desk and chair, and the bathrooms offers hot water showers.

The lodge has an on site restaurant serving up fresh, seasonal and organic dishes, with much of the produce coming directly from the lodge’s own gardens. Packed lunches are provided for those heading out for day trips, and the bar offers a range of drinks to relax and enjoy when you return.

Exploring from Churup Mountain Lodge

Churup Mountain Lodge offers a great location for spectacular day trekking experiences around lakes, glacially carved gorges and mystical hillsides. The entrances to Quilcayhuanca, Cojup and Laguna Churup with access to Laguna Llaca, Shallop and Ratucolta are all close.

After a day in the mountains you can come back to an inviting freshly cooked meal, and then retire to the peace and serenity of the comfortable rooms.

Churup Mountain Lodge is also a great base for acclimatising to altitude before taking on a multi day trek. There are many incredible routes in the area, including the famous Santa Cruz Trek.
