Where Travel Meets Craftsmanship
In 2021, Aracari expanded its horizons with the creation of Aracari Gallery — a curated platform dedicated to sharing the artistry, heritage, and contemporary expression of South America with the world.
The idea was born in the quiet months that followed the pandemic, when travel paused but the desire to connect with culture remained stronger than ever. We wanted to find a way for people to continue discovering the spirit of the region from their homes, while supporting the artisans and makers whose livelihoods had been impacted by halted tourism.

An Online Curation of Andean Luxury
Today, Aracari Gallery stands among the few platforms in the world to showcase South American art, fashion, and design rooted in ancient tradition and exceptional craftsmanship. Every piece tells a story — from gold-dipped jewelry molded from rainforest botanicals to textiles handwoven from the world’s finest Andean fibers by remote communities in the highlands.
Each piece in our collection is available to purchase online and can be shipped directly to your home, anywhere in the world, bringing a piece of South America’s artistry to your home. For collectors seeking something truly one-of-a-kind, our curator Marcella Echavarría can also arrange bespoke commissions, collaborating directly with artisans to create exclusive works of art and design.
Our collection is carefully chosen for its authenticity, artistry, and soul. These are not mere objects, but expressions of place; living testaments to heritage passed down through generations, reinterpreted by today’s most visionary creators.
Whether you’re choosing a piece as a reminder of your journey with Aracari, or as a meaningful gift that carries the spirit of South America to someone you love, each object is an invitation to connect more deeply with the stories, landscapes, and people that inspire it.
The Artisans Behind the Art
At its heart, Aracari Gallery is about connection. Each artisan we collaborate with represents a story of dedication, innovation, and cultural continuity. Many of these same makers open their workshops and studios to Aracari travelers, offering behind-the-scenes encounters that reveal the artistry of their craft firsthand.
Through the Gallery, we continue our founding mission: to create meaningful bridges between travelers and the region’s living culture — whether through a journey across the Andes or a handwoven textile that carries its spirit home.
