We take great pride in taking care of our guests and their tailormade travel plans in Peru, Bolivia and the Galapagos. Our travellers are our best advocates, and they frequently recommend our specialist travel services to friends, colleagues and family when planning a trip to our region.
Along with sharing their thoughts on tripadvisor forums, such as this one here, and on social media, such as Aracari facebook reviews here, here’s what more of them have had to say in their honest testimonials on travelling with Aracari:
Thank you SO much for helping us to have the most wonderful time in Peru! My interlude with altitude adjustment illness was, because of the wonderful help we got from our hotel and fabulous guide (Adriana) and driver (Ugo), short. I really do not believe that without Adriana’s translating I would have recovered so quickly and so well. The staff at Sol y Luna was also exceptional in caring about me.
Our trip was really exceptional. We appreciate the hotels you helped select for us and every single guide. Bruce was also a treasure in Lima.
My husband was not looking so much forward to last day of tastings and art. He was absolutely enthralled with every minute. Again thank you Bruce!
Of course, Adriana is also exceptional. We really wanted to put her in our suitcase to bring her home!- Mary Lou Weselin, March 2017
Mark, I would like to thank you and all of the Aracari team that we met, including of course our excellent guide, Renato, for making our trip so enjoyable.
The tour was wonderful. We greatly enjoyed our visits to Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cuzco. The plan and the pace were excellent. The accommodations in Ollatetambo, Cuzco and, especially, Machu Picchu were delightful.
What we saw of Peru and its cultural sites and museums was spectacular and far exceeded our expectations. We definitely would like to go back one day.- Carl and Pamela Green, October 2017
We had a phenomenal time with the tours. And John was so knowledgeable! I only wish we had more time to learn from him. I have already passed along your company to several friends headed to Peru in the coming months.- Victoria Cuesta, June 2017
Overall, the trip was fantastic. The tour guides were knowledgeable, punctual, polite, helpful and engaging. We loved our stay at Urubamba, we highly recommend Tambo del Inka. Great hotel, rooms, food, ambience, location. Loved Ollantaytambo, Maras mines and Moray. The paddle boarding/biking trip was wonderful and the lunch by the lake was a highlight of our day, would totally do it again.
We totally fell in love, as expected, with Machu Picchu; it was a great call to stay at the Sanctuary Lodge (saved us a ton of time since the bus lines were crazy). Liked that we had the opportunity to visit Machu Picchu twice and the Wayna Picchu hike was spectacular. Cusco was also very interesting and probably would have liked to stay an extra day to be able to visit it more thoroughly. The Choco museum was a highlight of the visit for our kids. Ivonne our guide was GREAT.
Quito was a very pleasant surprise, what a beautiful city! The Galapagos cruise was incredible. Again, this was a wonderful trip and I can definitely say that Aracari definitely fulfilled our expectations and we will certainly recommend you. Thank you again for everything- Erika Benz, August 2017
Marisol, what a fabulous trip your people organised for us. Everything was wonderful from the guides, the drivers, the places, the food and the hotels. We both said it is without doubt our best holiday ever. I am hooked on Camu Camu and on the hunt to find them in the UK… probably not possible. We did really well up at Lake Titicaca and were fascinated at how people live.- Rolanda Hyams, March 2017
Many thanks again for the splendid tour Aracari provided last month. We had a great time.- Ron & Patti Flagg, September 2017
We were very pleased (delighted!) with the overall package that you delivered. Thank you for helping my family and I learn more about the destinations and their cultures, and for helping us create lifelong memories.- Amelia Lim, June 2017
Overall, we had a wonderful trip and really appreciated all your help in putting it together. In particular, we had a fantastic time in Chachapoyas and would not have explored that part of the country without your advice. Julio was an outstanding guide, very attentive and flexible in structuring each day to make it work best for us. Gocta Natura was also a highlight and Rocio went out of her way to make our stay special. Thank you again for your help in putting this trip together. We had a great time exploring Peru and will be back again.- Sarah Armstrong, August 2017
My family of 4 just returned from an amazing trip to Peru, arranged by Aracari. Mark Green handled all the arrangements, making it a stress-free vacation. Everything ran seamlessly–all flights, trains, hotels. Our guide in Cusco and Machu Picchu was Fernando (shout out to our driver Hugo who was awesome too!). He had an incredible wealth of knowledge and we enjoyed his company. When my husband got sick, Fernando arranged to have a doctor meet us at our hotel. We also spent a wonderful day with Chef Penelope, learning to make Pisco Sours, exploring the markets and cooking in her beautiful apartment overlooking the water. We would use Aracari again without hesitation.- Nancy Wolf, April 2017
The trip was outstanding…exceeded our expectations. If I could, I would have taken Raül, Gaspar, Abelardo and Hugo (my guides) home with me to the states. Both my son and I did not want to say goodbye to Abelardo and Hugo.
The one day Inca trail was a perfect solution to my keen passion for hiking and my son´s lack of enthusiasm for hiking. It was right in the middle. But more enjoyable was the second day to Wayna Picchu! Oh my! Abelardo was very patient and kind with regard to our strength and/or lack thereof. He is so knowledgeable of every place we went and what we saw.
The arrangements were perfect and the information provided, I.e. packing suggestions, all very helpful.
I am already thinking about another trip. I am fairly certain I will return to Peru soon…
