I’m Amanda, a Travel Designer at Aracari, born and raised on the island of Mallorca. My love of travel began early, growing up in my family’s small hotel where I met people from all over the world. That constant flow of stories and cultures sparked a curiosity that has only deepened over time.
At 24, I set off on my first long backpacking trip through Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay — an adventure that changed everything. Since then, I’ve returned to Latin America again and again, staying for long stretches and exploring it in depth.
Before joining Aracari, I spent nearly a decade in the hotel world, followed by several years designing and curating travel experiences across South America. Today, I love sharing my passion for the region and helping travelers return home with a new perspective — and a desire to come back.
I’m happiest on the road, surrounded by wildlife and wide-open landscapes. Overlanding is my favorite way to travel — I’ll always choose a long journey by land over a short flight. One of my most meaningful adventures was a year-long motorbike trip from Buenos Aires to New York, which taught me that anything is possible if you take it one step at a time.
My travel advice? Take it easy. Don’t rush. And always seek the insight of a good Travel Designer — it makes all the difference.
