Quinta Miraflores Boutique Hotel Review

Quinta Miraflores Boutique Hotel is a charming boutique hotel right in the heart of Miraflores in the capital Lima. A home-away-from-home, the small property has been carefully restored by its owner and makes for an ideal base for a short stay in the city.

Quinta Miraflores Boutique Bed & Breakfast

Quinta Miraflores Boutique is a delightful and authentic premium bed and breakfast in the heart of Lima. It is full of character, the service is of the highest quality and the hosts make their guests feel right at home all throughout their stay.

The owner Barbara is originally from Italy, and she has been restoring the property over the last three years. The house, which originates from the early 1900’s, is located next to a quinta, the name given to a quarter of buildings that were residence to artists.

A restored home

Barbara has beautifully decorated this antique home, in a way that maintains the historic feel of the place. There are fine arts on the walls, crystal chandeliers, restored antique furniture and gorgeous wooden features complimented by a dash of modern panache. She and her team have used the best materials and apparel to recreate period atmosphere, with some of the décor having even been imported from Barbara’s native Italy.

The Rooms

The property features 2 suites and 2 rooms spread between 2 floors – there are king beds in the suites while the standard rooms have queen beds, all with top quality Pima cotton. The rooms are all stylishly appointed and very comfortable, perfect for a relaxing evening in, and sound insulation ensures that no noise seeps in from the nearby intersection, so don’t be put off by the location!

Amenities at Quinta Miraflores

All modern amenities – television, air conditioner, electronic safe, minibar – are integrated into cabinets in order to retain the historic feel. Breakfast is made to order and brought to the room, guests can choose between fruit juices, bread, home baking, cereal and yoghurt alongside a selection of teas and tasty espresso coffee.

Although Quinta Boutique does not have all the facilities of a hotel, such as a dining room, lobby, restaurant or other traditional services, we do think it is a wonderful place to stay while in Lima. And for those who like that type of thing, there is even a Starbucks right next door which has been decorated to strictly conform to the antique style of the building.
