Manu Wildlife Center Lodge is located east of the Manu River on the north bank of the Madre de Dios River. It is reached by a 45-minute flight from Lima or Cusco to Puerto Maldonado followed by an 8-hour journey by car and boat, indicating its remoteness within the heart of the rainforest.

Accommodation at Manu Wildlife Center Lodge

The lodge offers 22 rustic bungalows constructed with local materials in the style of the native architecture and have private en suite bathrooms with warm water showers for guest comfort, as well as mosquito nets. The lounge, dining area and bar areas are spacious, serving wholesome meals with fresh ingredients.

Ideally located to experience the abundant and varied wildlife, the lodge is in close proximity to a Tapir clay lick, a nearby macaw clay lick project, two nearby oxbow lakes and two tall canopy viewing towers, among others.

The lodge is available from April to October and Aracari can offer a range of programs of varying lengths.
